Win # 2 for Sammy ‘The Boss’ Leone

In his latest fight on June 12th, at the Broncos League Club, Sammy ‘The Boss’ Leone came up against a tough yet awkward opponent from the Phillipines, Simatar Dipaculong. South paw, Dipaculong, caused a bit of frustration for Sammy early in the rounds but once he adjusted to his stance, he was able to box from the outside and score well. Going into the last round, the contest was fairly close and Sammy was going to have to lift to secure a win. Dipaculong picked up the pace half way through the last but faded. ‘The Boss’ then pounced and finished with an exciting and strong flurry of unanswered punches. From the sound of the crowd, it was deemed a very entertaining and tough fight. Coming away with a split points decision, ‘The Boss’ secured his 2nd Professional win and his record now stands at 2-0.
